Sketch Concepts

Initial concepts and form sketches. Further exploration was done through full-scale paper mockups to understand size and color blocking.

Product Render and Color Studies

Products are rendered in Adobe Illustrator to communicate form and design details.  Color studies are created to determine final color direction.

User Research

Before redesigning all of the Embark soft coolers and lunch bags, our team conducted user research to determine design direction.  We walked 6 individuals through the store and discussed what it means to them to transport food.  Through synthesis, we created 3 design imperatives to help focus the rest of the design process.
